T5 should have been released at the start - the attunements would have slowed most people and the hard cores could be boasting about clearing it. But noone would have been raid logging for 3 months.

Lol absolutely not, two tiers being out at the same time is so dumb. People are so much better at the game now it would have made pretty much all t4 content irrelevant besides farming DST
So again. Are you opposed to them staggering the release of Hyjal, and BT? Because thats the main topic of discussion here.

Actually this is where mastery classic has an edge, a defined 12 month cadence. At least here there is an explicit agreement to speed up the release cycle.
There is recognition that modern players will burn through it quicker. But staggering it more is not the fix. That just gives people time to consider ditching the game.
I am well aware? I added that part for the people who would be all like “what about people who arent attuned yet?”, but you’d know that if you’d actually read the thread, and not cherry pick the part that somehow you could try to make yourself appear superior to someone.

There’s a lot of guilds not burning through phase 2 - imagine if we had that in pre Kara blues and had phase 3 heading our way about now? The problem is solved by releasing content faster.
tk/ssc should def not be 6 months long, thats just putting more gear into peoples hand to make bt/hyjal even easier. we already saw this with classic, plus we’re only 4 months in and the mass raidlogging and burnout is already happening.
at max 5 months, at min 4 months

Sounds awful to me, and like crap game design.
Like it or not having top guilds running BT while dad guilds are barely in TK/SSC will cause casuals to quit and feel left behind.

Nah they won’t they were left behind in classic vanilla, they’ve been left behind in most expansions of most mmos and what it does is motivate them to keep striving and playing.
Letting them max out in 1 hour per week play is what kills mmos - no aspiration.
You give everyone a winner pencil at the same time and everyone is done - no need to play. A game of raid loggers like we have now. Not having stuff you want while others do have it is what drives participation in games like this.
Hardcores quit and take aspirational casuals with them, but casuals rarely quit.
