SoJ has a much higher dps, top end, and is much slower. Alliances races also dont benefit from axe special
5 points in axe literally does not matter in PvP. Whirlwind Axe will be king because of axe talents.

Pendulum of Doom will be better. The proc will make it unbeatable, especially if warriors continue to use quick strikes.
Expect it to cost a fair bit, though. Several thousand gold at least, and probably a lot more than that.

Maybe Pvp. Maybe. It might be better putting the 5 points somewhere else just for the high dmg weap. SoJ will burst much harder.
The differences are marginal at best. The extra 30 AP puts Whirlwind Axe close enough to make up for it’s slightly lower dps. Both will hit relatively the same, and Axe will likely (undoubtedly) do more because of stacked agility and 10% extra crit from talents.
Also like Dominius said, Pendulum of Doom will lay people out. Any warrior using SOJ is a smoothbrain.

He ain’t wrong… PoD’s proc chance is abysmal. There is going to be a lot of drama with 2h enhance shamans, it really is their BIS and unless they make something slow with similar stats it’s going to stay that way.
This isn’t about Shamans, which is something I can understand. For Warriors, though, it makes no sense at all.
I highly doubt it, soj isn’t even bis for casters. 100% sure some gnomer weapon will out do it.
That much or more. If 50 warriors all want one on crusader strikd, there won’t be enough. It is hard to quantify how rare pendulum is.
Sorry been busy. The 15 str only adds 7.5 weapon dmg so no… it’s waaaaay behind. SoJ is much stronger.
You guys keep saying this but WW axe isnt as good as bonebiter which is far easier to get.
Go kill SM bosses finish quest get axe.

You’re correct and even BB is 11 weapon dmg lower on the top swing after str is applied. It is also .3 faster which makes the formula for multiplying dmg result in a lower #. Slower weapons are even more valuable than normal vanilla because of things like WF proc on druid and raging blow.

14 AP adds 1 dps. That’s 37 vs 40, barely noticeable. Certainly not enough to matter in any fight since it rarely comes down to that.
Just do whatever raid there is and get handed free weapons, why work on prebis?
