Stackable Soulshards Please!

I don’t want soulshards removed, since it’s pretty cool class fantasy wise, but there’s no reason to have each individual soul shard take up a bag slot.

Please let soul shards stack to atleast 20, and ammo/arrows should stack to around 2,000.

I’ve played tanks and warlocks and thinking about what happens when you combine the bag space issues of both has me noping tf out.

This does seem like a reasonable change. If they wanted a cap on how many soul shards a player could hold at one time they could just make them unique to that amount.

I wouldn’t have any issues with ss stacking, especially since the first phase will have limited bag space compared to lvl 60.

This is a weird one for me…

Like I understand it…and at the same time I think the unique flair around both SS and Ammo Quiver/Pouches is a nifty lore thing.

I would rather see Soul bags being able to be made by tailors and at larger quantities (make the MC one a 32 slot SS bag and work it down to where the lowest one is an 18 slot bag obtainable pretty early).

Another option is to simpily add a extra slot for pouches, so they don’t take up a bag slot.

I agree with you, soul shards and ammo add a lot of character to the game, but I don’t think players should be punished with one less bag slot essentially. So having, soul shards stackable, and ammo pouches in a seperate “pouch” slot, would make playing hunters and locks a lot less burdensome.

Damn, I feel the same way. Farming the last hit of a creep, stealing their soul, felt as “warlocky” as reading to imp complaining about being a slave. There is something unique about the sound.

I would not mind if a questline was added, for all classes that reagents or ammo of some kind, to have a unique quest from their quest giver to have a unique reagent bag that upgrades from time to time.

Also, soul shard farming is punishment for warlocks being so more overpower than everyone else.

Signed.

Yes please! That would be so nice

Ya know what. Thats a change I can get behind.

Seems reasonable, maybe 10 per slot

I’d be super hype if that were the case. Playing the bag space juggling game with shards and all the other miscellaneous crap you need to carry has always steered me off of seriously considering warlock.

From a class fantasy standpoint, I think this would be great. I could easily picture a warlock carrying around a small pouch of small crystals / soul shards. It should be an ammo bag type of thing like a quiver is for hunters. Also, add a “vending machine” bag for mages.

Shard management is one of my concerns, playing a warlock again for SoD. Stackable shards would rule (5-20), or even getting shards from Target Dummies within the main cities, like later expansions.

Then necrosis can’t track the name of the soul it came from to use later. That would be sad.
