Honestly I believe it would be a better option to have a feature on the ‘Stable Master’ to choose which flying mounts you want to have ‘Skyriding ’ (Dragonriding) and which ones you want to remain with ‘Steady Flight’ mode (the original flying) – So that way you can pick & choose between them … and yet still have both simultaneously. 
Stable Master Flight-Mounts Feature:
So for instance, upon the Stable Master’s flying-mount tab:
- You’ll have two columns and can drag what flying-mounts you want to be in whatever genre of flying via the column you drag them into — Naturally this would include flight-form for druids.
So that way you can have both a Skyriding mount and a Steadyflight mount, choosing what flying-technique mount at your leisure depending on the situation or mood you find yourself in. 
Additionally perhaps even a tick-bar on the stable-master for ‘Adjustable Reins’ — Where you can keep it the way it currently is now, with a 5 second cast bar to adjust them all in bulk as you see fit.
