ST Is Overtuned

The point of SoD is to play whatever you want and be viable. Why is it that only raids who are stacking melee hunters and mages are able to kill the last 2 bosses?

The gear upgrades from Gnomer to ST are also very underwhelming. C’mon Blizzard.

The content is easy enough that anyone can do it, I’m sure once you clear it you will be happy with the progression. Keep trying!

There’s no enrage timers. The best dps isn’t why they are winning.

However, the best dps does solve another problem: The shorter the fight, the less times a boss does a mechanic that can wipe the raid. Shorter fight, lower fail rate.

Also mage aoe is really really good, and eranikus has a lot of adds.

Yeah it’s way over tuned.

Blizzard needs to figure out that Classic is for Average players, not high level sweats.

Very passive aggressive, with no valuable input. You have 0 kills logged in ST, yet have strong opinions on the matter. Please try again, maybe next time with something useful to say.

You’re 6/6?

All I know is that my guild was in there for 4 hours last night and only did like 5 bosses. I have 6 jobs, 3 wives and 12 kids, I don’t have time for that.

I want the last raid of SoD to be around this difficulty. Not leveling raids or raids that are suppose to be farmed to beat the hardest raid.

Good. The power creep’s getting stupid.
Raid “for the joy of it”. That’s what I get told when I say there needs to be a pvp gear set progression for each phase in bgs like raiders have raid gear progression.

good thing you’re playing a priest then because there’s about a 1% power increase from 40-50 for casters. Melee seem to get a lot of shiny new things, though.

You mean you think it’s for below average players.

Y’all should try to hotkey your abilities so you can stop staring at your character and action bars and look at the entire fight so you can actually see mechanics.

This game really isn’t hard to be good at

it’s not overtuned. A hardcore retail guild was able to do it after hours of wipes so it’s fine for the casual players even after nerfs :^)

Dude…

when you make the game so that only high performance players can progress…

it drives away the average performers, which, I should point out, make up a majority of this games population…

By making ST as hard as it is, The classic devs are shooting themselves in the foot. Unless this get fixed soon, Season of Discovery will be abandoned by the majority of the player base, and Blizzard will give it up as a bad job.

If you care about this game, you need to get off your high horse and actually give a damn about the average players, cause otherwise you’re not gonna have a game to play.

But you guys are crying and they already said a couple times that they are nerfing it again.

They already dropped most of the health of the bosses.

They said on Monday when they get back to work they will be doing more changes.

I respectfully disagree. ST has only been cleared by 37 guilds with 3-5 hunters and mages in each raid. You can’t simply get whatever DPS you want and clear it. That’s not what SOD was promised to be. While I agree the mechanics are fun, it’s overtuned still. IMO the raids need to be BFD level of difficulty until “new” level 60 content.

Don’t personally mind the difficulty, but any raid that has to be/should be class stacked is just a huge turn off. Ideally it should be bring any class and get a progression style gameplay and if you class stack, you get less of a progression gameplay. Ironically people will class stack regardless and call it “easy”. Anyone that thinks otherwise is doing the game a disservice.

Dropping the HP is still not enough. Level 50 took 6 hours of playtime, and yet only 37 guilds have full cleared the content. All of these groups are running 3+ mages and hunter DPS, essentially omitting classes that are average. SOD should not be a class stack, the raids should be easily cleared by any comp regardless of class stacking.

A lot of people on here are just saying “get good”, yet they haven’t cleared the raid as well.

I think it still needs a few more nerfs to be more comfortable to the casual players and dad guilds (which is the target).

Not as major as the first round of nerfs where one boss had a 56% HP nerf, but some nerfs to mechanics and other things.

Classic players don’t want a 10 min long Retail boss fight unless its stupid easy with almost no mechanics but just a tank and spank.

Otherwise classes will be left out because it’s not easy. Difficulty should be MC or easier.

They are nerfing it more they said.

You guys won’t be happy until it’s a tarfet dummy boss tho, let’s face facts.

Mechanics are too hard for era players
