Why would a SSF server be needed? You can play SSF on the current servers. It’s not something that requires everyone follow that rule set to be viable.

TRUE solo self-found renders impossible to do end game, or nearly impossible - at least not feasible.
Not sure why people are asking.
It has nothing to do with the end game, and everything do with the fact that Blizzard isn’t gonna turn it’s MMO into a single player game.

Alright, let’s not forget that Blizzard said they would consider adding this “option” for the future.
You can’t do anything in endgame. You might enter molten core, but if you’re not alchemist and herbalist, you wont have your elixirs and flask. You won’t have your sharpening weapon stones or your engineer bullets because you’re not blacksmith nor engineer.
To do Blackwing lair everyone needs skinning/leatherworking to craft their onyxia cloak, because solo self found can’t trade right.
But then again you need engineering for sapper chargers in some fights, so you need to be an engineer.
If you want SSF just to level, what is the flex here? jesus.
They’re not going to make it a single player game.

Well, it is your opinion vs words from devs said they clearly:
- “some time after launch, enabling an option for players to chose from that allows them to play without using the auction house, mail, trade, so a solo self found option”.

They already have what you want. Get on the HC server and download the addon.

These are just the usual head canon rando rulesets from slow players who want to feel like special snowflakes despite doing nothing of note.
Same goes for hardcore in general. It’s better to make it official.

Sure an official option on the servers is fine. I’d probably check that box on a toon or two.
But a full blown server seems unnecessary . The op seemed to be asking for a SSF server, but I may have misunderstood what they were asking for.

Check box or modifier to Soul of Iron buff would be cool.
Maybe why separate realm would be better is cuz these types of player create lines for quest kills.

It isn’t needed, the only thing I said is that they would add an option for the player to go into ssf, but that is doa because if they have any goal of raiding they’ll need to go out of ssf mode.

in-game support for the rule set is one thing, an actual server where said rule set is involuntarily enforced is another.
