SSC: Morogrim Tidewalker - 13.8k dmg in 0.02 sec - Bear Tank - Double Attack / Thrash Bug?

Hi, I’ve just checked logs and tried to confirm with other players but Morogrim Tidewalker seems to do something funky with melee swings. Can a Blue confirm as to whether Morogrim has a Double Attack, Thrash style mechanic? Unsure if this is a bug that was never fixed (overlooked) or is the boss is working as intended.

Another Bear Druid brought it up in another thread but was only given heresay.

The reply, in that thread I linked is also incorrect as checking the threat timeline he did not lose threat to morogrim until he died, as a result the warlock correctly below him in attempt #5 takes the next swing as a result of being next highest on the threat list. The same occurred on attempt #4.

In attempt #4 & #5 of that Druids logs he took 2 Melee crushing blows inside a 0.2 - 0.3 sec window as I did.

These are my logs of when it happen to me:

I spoke to the other Bear tank in my guild and he said it has happened to him as well and didn’t understand it himself claiming it was just random bad luck.

With no online information claiming he has a thrash in his attack table, there is nothing but speculation and sheer confusion on the topic as it seems random.

I found this, unsure of it’s validity.

Top Comment: “That’s his mechanic, he has a 50% chance to attack twice on a 3 second cool down.”

Yes, Morogrim has a double hit mechanic.

Why do no guides, state this then? and why is it a comment or w/e only from Thottbot?

I dunno ask the guide writers.
