So on the one hand, I’m happy to get this trinket finally (Champion version from the Time Walking Weekly of all places), but seriously? Seriously?
That a single trinket could move me from the struggling sweaty mess of a mage, hitting just above the tank DPS, into the #1 or #2 spot on every pull is just so, so stupid/OP/unbalanced and pretty offensive to me. Oh, and best part is I can mostly just let it be a passive insane buff that never goes way!!! But if I REALLY want to juice a boss I can unleash infinity +int for 20 seconds!
It’s just so far away from the entire rest of the trinket line up that I’m like “whatever Blizz”, just stop. I can’t even right now.
For those who don’t have it yet, just know that the game is finally playable on the other side of it (by design I might add).

Yeah, the trinket is busted.
While we were progressing H court my dmg was middle of the pack.
Then I got a hero track version from the vault and this week I was able to pull 1.7M dps by virtue of activating it a x40 while Takazj was stunned and then at ~x15 when I got my cds back and they were in the last 10%.

It also adds the fun “feature” of dying with high stacks bricking your dps

Exactly! I am so sick and tired of the over emphasis on burst windows and stacking cooldowns. You can do everything right the entire fight but one slip up during a burst window and your DPS can tank. Worse still you can do absolutely everything right but if the boss dies just before you go into your next burst window and you’re bottom of the pack again. As long as there is emphasis on burst over sustain and there all of these busted cooldown stacking shenanigans this will always be a problem.
