Who takes damage from Death 12 times? Also who’s using the Death talents. Clever way to try and nerf us, I won’t let it happen.

I don’t like it at all and having to change my generic tree the way I like to play into Mindbender stuff isn’t fun.
I’m tempted to just rock 4x 450 tier of S2 and focus on getting best ilvl in every other slot.
What’s hilarious is that the season 2 tier 4-set isn’t that far behind the new season 3 tier set.
I switched my spec in favor of SWD (sadly) due to the tier set and I feel as if I’m playing a lousy (shadow) hunter. With lucky RNG, I will have a 20 second down time on shadow mender leftover after spamming MB and SWD procs… but I hate it so much lol.
I think I may switch back to resto Druid or pick my main as a mage since neither of those classes ever get screwed over this badly.

I like the mage tier but the mog is pretty meh.
The priest mog, esp pvp elite is so nice again.
I don’t think any pugs would ever invite me to heroic raid with 4pc S2 though.
The SWD in rotation doesn’t bother me much so I was thinking double 2pc of S2 and S3, but no idea how that would turn out dps-wise. No one prob has even run those numbers.
Its better than running 2pc and some 483 non tier pieces slightly if the tier pieces are 447+ but if you’re dropping more ilvl than that it’s not worth. However the playstyle change is mostly from the 2 piece t31 so why you’d deliberately not go up to 4 piece 31 I don’t understand. Its not like you get to keep playing the old build like that. You’d need to run 4piece t30 for that and that’s 100% not a viable option.
Because I absolutely despise playing around the new SWD set bonus. The 2pc isn’t so bad but keeping track of 4pc stacks and manually casting SWP (or VT if that works?).
Also, I like running triple idol on my old s.priest set up and using the current 4pc means we have to spec deep right down into Mindbender stuff + pick up Deathspeaker passive.
I know our pet isn’t tied to 2/4 pc but it feels like we’re forced into pet talents to really make tier shine?
Basically I need to give up several talent points + one of my fav idol talents.
I was thinking not running any Mindbender talents with our current 4pc but that seems like a bad idea?
We can still run 450 tier pieces of last season via the catalyst and using the new adventure track gear from doing Dreamsurges or Time Rift weekly.
It was I was thinking on trying that, using old + new 2pc but Idk if anyone even bothers to sim weird stuff like that.
Might try healing as holy instead since it’s been forever. That or just run fiend instead of bender talents as disc and keep my other stuff on left side of disc tree.
TL;DR - I hate the current shadow 4pc and only slightly less on Disc, which again, forces you to spec deep down into Mindbender.
Unfortunately, the 12 stack SWP is not consumed when you cast VT. You must cast SWP by itself, which is stupid. I’m not sure if it’s working as intended, but even fixing this won’t help current spriest.
Our AOE damage was absolutely gutted. In keys it’s a damn joke. Single target is “okay” but spriest will never be a competitive spec in season 3. And when I say okay - it’s when you’re above the tank’s damage

I’m fine with the MD and PI nerfs, just fix shadow priests because raids are better off bringing two disc priests instead of 1 disc and 1 shadow. We suck this season.
I’d like to know who was the lead developer for s3 shadow priests because that moron needs his /her yearly performance evaluation gutted just as they did to shadow priests.

Sometimes I need to s.crash to refresh my dots b/c of that one talent that speeds them up. Normally just flaying I never have to cash VT/Crash again.
Having SWD in the rotation is fun, but a bit more complex. I don’t want to add in manual SWP casts every 30-35-ish seconds either, or however long it takes to build 12 stacks? Don’t have 4pc yet.
This is another reason why I was thinking of just running double 2pc set, but I feel like the new 4pc at current ilvl is much stronger than S2 2pc.

Still trying to figure out which idol talent I want to give up for Deathspeaker when I get my 4pc as well. Prob N’Zoth, but that one helped a bit on AoE.

No buffs next week either in latest blue post. Perhaps they thought this week’s 5% buff was good 'nuff.
In reality you just ignore the 4 piece in dungeons and crash entirely as normal to refresh dots / set up packs. You don’t play around it.
