So I’ve been running SoO on 3 of my plate alts and so far I’ve wiped twice to absolutely nothing on 2 of them for this encounter. I’ve read before that sometimes a mob being alive before you hop over to another platform can cause the wipe, so I always take extra care to make sure the room is clear before I leave it.
Pretty damn frustrated now because it sets off my anxiety every time so I wanna know what it is that I’m missing.

Break the boxes but don’t kill things right away. Give like 5 or so seconds and then kill them.
Yeah, pretty much. I’ll run it once in a while, fail and repeat it doing the exact same thing and pass.
Once you clear a section and flip the lever, wait until the goblin stops speaking before riding the crane up to the walkway.
Also double check that there are no stray sparks of life laying around. They can cause a wipe too.
Not sure what you’re doing, but i’ve never had this problem. however, I always make sure everything is dead, and that the goblin voice isn’t yammering on before i move to the next quadrant.
the only times i have wiped were in my first five or so runs, when i didn’t really know what i was supposed to do. figured things out through trial and error.
Try toggling enemy nameplates to always on, not just in combat, is my advice. The only time I’ve ever wiped on it was when I’d missed a stray spark that was still lurking in a corner. I even do a quick run back through just to make sure it’s clear.
Thanks for the responses everyone! I assume I was wiping on my second toon because one of the cannons was still up and aggroing me in the main room, so once I went back and killed it, I stopped wiping. Not sure what caused the double wipe on my other toon but I reckon it could be something similar. /sigh
I hate this encounter.
