*SPOILERS* Tyrande's thoughts on the aftermath of the War

I’m afraid you’re the one not understanding. Specifically, you don’t understand the medium we’re dealing with here.

This isn’t a book or a TV show though. if we were just sitting down on a couch to watch hte latest episode of “As Azeroth Turns,” or reading through the latest christie Golden novel sure, you’d be absolutely right.

Instead it’s an RPG. Certainly not as interactive as one you might play at a table with a group, but it’s still assumed that you, the player, are making decisions on how your character interacts with the world around them.

In a tabletop group, if your game master decides for you that your character just does whatever the game master wants in order to “further his story,” regardless of what you, the person playing the character wants, that’s known as “railroading,” and is actually a pretty good way to end your career as a game master with a lot of groups. Especially when it’s railroading towards special perks and privileges for the GM’s girlfriend - that being you, the cherished alliance player - at the expense of hte other players at hte table, that beign Horde players.

GM: “Derfus the rogue decides he’s going to give Princess Perfect all the gold he’s been stashing away, because she’s so charming and pretty”
Princess Perfect: “Awwww! I love you sweety!”
GM: “I love you too! -Smoochy noises-”
Derfus the Rogue: “Now hey, wait just a minute here…”
