For those who don’t remember, the Soulfused Construct was an abomination created by the House of Constructs with Kyrian parts to be the ultimate creation of the House.
The Stitchdoctor who made it botched the procedure, however, and the flesh wasn’t purged of it’s memories.
First Apprentice Malkrex says: When Stitchflesh returns he will know that I, Malkrex, have completed his research. Forging kyrian flesh into the ultimate construct!
Sharrex the Fleshcrafter says: He will also notice that you failed to purge the flesh of its memories before assembly!
First Apprentice Malkrex says: Nonsense! Once we embed a Maldraxxian soul, it will squelch any remaining echoes of Bastion brainwashing!
Sharrex the Fleshcrafter says: Uh… I just saw it move! Those kyrian parts are fighting to take control of the construct!
First Apprentice Malkrex says: Well, uh, there are many complicated factors that go into successful flesh preparation. Perhaps I needed a touch more–
Sharrex the Fleshcrafter says: Ah-HAH! So you DID botch the procedure!
As a result, the construct is inhabited by a mixture of fragmented Kyrian Souls. A painful existence, but arguably better than oblivion.
Well, I’m pleased to spoil it for you that the Soulfused Construct gets it’s happy ending!
