Play the games and then come back and tell me your whacked-out interpretation of what happened.
There’s no room for argument:
VOID ELVES. ARE. NOT. FORMER. BLOOD ELVES.
They are former High Elves. Plain and simple.
The strict definition of a Blood Elf is: A High Elf who experienced and lived through the destruction of the Sunwell.
The Void Elves were LITERALLY on another planet when the Sunwell was destroyed.
THEREFORE, Void Elves are NOT former Blood Elves. They are former High Elves. Period.

That wouldn’t even be a retcon lmao, most of the Horde didn’t participate in the Burning. The Horde’s entire goal during the War of Thorns was to capture Teldrassil and use it as a bargaining chip. Saurfang even went out of his way to relocate Auberdine civilians to safety. Yes, the Horde started the War of Thorns, but the Burning of Teldrassil specifically can be put entirely on Sylvanas and six nameless catapult operators.
Your beef for the genocide of night elf civilians isn’t with the Horde, it’s with Sylvanas. I actually hope you get your revenge in Shadowlands. I wouldn’t mind watching Tyrande quickscope Sylvanas on Rust, snipers only, no camping.
Yes, all of bfa should be hidden from players and forgotten.
The Horde still killed many people including civilians up until Teldrassil and even after they burned it they were proud of it and still wanted to defend Darkshore to prevent the Night Elves from getting it back. That after what they have done to them. Also nobody in the Horde ever regret Teldrassil, it was only Saurfang and he regret it because of his own honor that he lost.
Combine that with the fact that Tyrande is now evil and Sylvanas crimes whitewashed, there will definitely not be revenge. More like the opposite.
