Spoilers: Sylvanas was in Azshara’s Eternal Palace

I had a feeling that wasn’t N’zoth grabbing Azshara in the cinematic. That shadowy tendril was TOO shadowy to be N’zoth.
It was Sylvanas.

It’s now confirmed that she made a deal with Azshara.
Azshara WANTS us to fight N’zoth. Though we don’t know what Sylvanas has to gain (other than having everyone “serve death”), this is what happened.

Sylvanas saved Azshara from death. Perhaps now breaking her deal/link to N’zoth and setting her “free”.

Interesting.

Edit: You can check it out on Wowhead. The Horde players that followed Sylvanas get an extra bit of storyline stating the above

I don’t think so, but it’s an interesting theory.

It’s not a theory.
Check it out on wowhead.

If it’s true, I like!

“My bargain with Azshara will yet bear fruit. The armies of Azeroth will fight her master, and he will line their streets with corpses. In the end, he too will serve Death.”

The bargain with Azshara could have been sending her Ashvane, Horde ships and Alliance ships into an ambush by Azshara, plus (possibly) doing something with Xal’atath in Nazjatar.

It doesn’t necessarily mean the bargain was saving Azshara after the battle.

Edit- I even rewatched the cinematic. The shadow tentacles come from the Big eye below, just released. And then N’zoth speaks.

It was N’zoth.

Sylvanas being this shadowy just means she bargained for power with N’zoth and obtained something similar.

We still have a lot to deal with when it comes to sylvanas and the war campaign told us nothing new…

Ding ding ding.

If you hang around after the battle cinematic, Lor’themar, Jaina, and Thalyssra chat about what her mysterious weird magic power is, and they all conclude that Sylvanas has never displayed it before. Almost like it was given to her only recently…

It was definitely N’zoth. You see him using the same shadowy tendril magic during Azshara’s Nazjatar cinematic.

It’s N’zoth. Sometimes the obvious solution is the real one.

Pretty sure Sylvanas sent Ashvane to Azshara to strike the bargain, she didn’t go there herself.
