“Jurassic times call for jurassic measures”?

They’ve used the term Maw umpteen times. The only thing that Helya’s maw has in common with THE Maw is that it’s an afterlife.

Do we know that for sure?
How can we prove that these aren’t the same?

I’ve posted the video umpteen times, man. Ion plainly states that the Maw is a secret to everyone because Sylvanas is the only person who’s ever left it. He never mentions Helya once. Helya isn’t mentioned at all on the Shadowlands website.

So what do you think is more likely?

A:
Ion, the deep dive team, Danuser, and the website staff had a collective stroke and all of them coincidentally forgot to mention that we had been there before and left (and so have Valkyr and Vrykul)

B:
Blizzard has a stifled vocabulary and uses the Maw more than it should, as referenced here: https://i.imgur.com/uIbF8Nt.png

C. They conveniently or accidentally left it out. Both have happened before with Blizzard. Red Shirt Kid called them out on their mistakes.

They didn’t “leave it out.”

Ion and the Deep Dive team both specifically state no one has left save Sylvanas.

I’m just going to say go back to my previous post about the two “Maw’s”

Blizz has made mistakes about their own lore before. This one looks like another one to me.

Helya plane of existence is a pocket dimension like the elemental planes

They were doing this same thing with The Shadowlands and the Realm of Shadows. Blizzard has been wrong and its a major reason why retconning is just bad writing since it makes you wrong about your own story. Its probably why most people just dont care about the lore anymore because its just trash.

Just you though realm of shadows and shadowlands were different places

Because Odyn and his crew created a pocket dimension to send worthy souls to which warriors saw in legion. The maw of souls in legion is part of that pocket dimension. It is different from the maw.

No
I understand what you’re saying about the warrior setting, but you can’t say that for sure about Helya’s Maw dungeon.
I’m sorry, you just cant

They said it already that her dungeon is not the maw. It is part of what Odyn created his version of hell

What’s the source?

https://wow.gamepedia.com/Helheim

After the corrupted keeper Loken had restored Helya’s free will, she called upon the same powers she had used to secure the Elemental Plane and sealed off Odyn’s fortress — the Halls of Valor — with an impregnable, magical barrier. She then proceeded to create Helheim as an enchanted refuge for herself and the other Val’kyr far below the Halls, and bound it to Azeroth’s great seas. Ocean mists soon enveloped her new home and shrouded it from sight, and the realm became the final destination for many vrykul spirits after death.

However, the darkness that had long festered in Helya’s heart transformed Helheim into a place of nightmare and shadow, and the vrykul souls who arrived in the realm were soon transformed into the wraithlike kvaldir.[5]

Helheim is the polar opposite to the Halls of Valor: while the greatest vrykul warriors are brought to the Halls, the unworthy were pulled into Helheim upon their death. The kvaldir also raided the coastlines and brought souls here before they could be judged, thus robbing Odyn of potential champions for his Valarjar.[6] Upon learning that Helya had started stealing Valarjar souls, he started the Trial of Valor to test the might of powerful champions which he would send to finish Helya once and for all.

Note: THE Maw is as old as the Shadowlands is and the Shadowlands is as old as life is, and Azeroth is a very incredibly new planet. Odyn and Helya were created on Azeroth by the Titans after the Emerald Dream was created.

To be honest, this just seems like another mistake Blizzard made

Which they are. It’s how it has been explained by Blizzard.

Is where Odin is at the Shadowlands as well? It’s the afterlife. Helyas domain? Its the afterlife as well. If so then the only way into the Shadowlands isn’t death as Blizzard stated.

They don’t know their own lore. It’s why not they constantly retcon themselves. If things are no longer chacon then they technically didn’t happen which can screw up other parts of the lore. Red shirt guy had the entire panel stumped due to a single simple question by following the lore.

Odyn favored a particular race of people and made a special place for them alone to go when they died.

Okay then…
