Well it just says that her redemption will be nuanced and not simple, and it’s also the perfect opportunity to spite night elf fans.
What have they not? The night elves lost every battle, Tyrande lost and now she sleeps for the rest of the patch.
Neutral zones that have barely any night elves in them
We didn’t win our lands back, and our starting zone including capital is gone forever.
But unlike Sylvanas, he was eventually brought to justice.
We’ve been waiting for over 3 years now. The story was concluded with the destruction of the souls, Tyrande’s humiliating defeat against Sylvanas, Sylvanas redemption and the Night Elves not having any zones besides Darkshore and going extinct.
It ends in 9.1 with Tyrande’s defeat in her final showdown with Sylvanas and her sleeping for the rest of the patch until she loses the powers at some point.
Absolutely atrocious.
While I understand the OP’s feelings about the Night Elves, because it’s -always- the Night Elves. Anytime a Warchief gets crazy, it’s the Night Elves that pay the price and it’s the Humans who give closure, not the Night Elves, I think they are not the only race that had the short end of the stick.
The Forsaken also had it. Many of them died and we didn’t go to the Maw to save them. After Sylvanas left, the Forsaken haven’t been mentioned as much as I recall, they are also stuck in the capital city.
But it’s always like that, it’s not hate, it’s Blizzard who shifts protagonism to Orcs and Humans all the time. Few races have gotten their closure without an Orc or a Human getting in the way and I guess only the Draenei did, and even like that a Human was leading them.
I’d ask for less Human/Orc protagonism. It’s bad enough that we keep losing capital cities and being locked in the same Orgrimmar or Stormwind for everyone, because other races tend to be the scapegoats for them to act.
Less evident with the Horde, as we’ve had Vol’jin and different warchiefs, but they end up dying, so… both sides have it quite bad. They should at least give the LEAD to the race they use as scapegoat, though. That’d leave the fans of the affected race happy at least.
Huh here we go again. WC3!!! why can’t night elf player and MHP just can’t let go of WC3??? Why does it always have to go down to WC3???
For the 100time Wow is based on WC3 but WoW doesn’t represent WC3 which is why undead nearly not make it in game and why the forsaken doesn’t represent 10% of the WC3 undead.
If night elf player didn’t get after 16 years that blizzard isn’t going to give to only one race what night elf had in the rts since they would have more than at least 10 playable race together than i don’t know what to say.
Have to agree with you. Bfa was such a miss opportunity to give the horde lead to the zandalari empire. But no, they decide to just crew them over and over to the point where they can’t do anything without the horde.
I would even be good with just a shift of orc focus by having the mag’har iron horde take over the current green orc which have been defeat over and over but once again blizzard decide that the mag’har orc would be nearly all wiped out and now they don’t even have one building in org…
Same for the alliance, any race other than human would do it at this point. In fact all dwarf clan should already be the biggest alliance military at this point.
Agreed, damn orc may as well of been why the tree had to burn. His pride leading to everything that unfolded then he has the nerve to rebel against Sylvanas for winging it thanks to him… disgraceful. If she hadn’t killed him I’d of done so myself if given the chance. He should of done his damn job and killed that elf
