RIP Geyahrah, future raid boss in the Siege of Spooky Orgrimmar.
This is actually pretty heartening. They address the schism, from a meta-narrative position, and use characters like Geya’rah and Mayla to show that honor means different things to different people.
Far more characters than I expected have a nuanced viewpoint, criticizing Baine’s politics and timing. Rokhan seems to have his head screwed in straight, wanting to keep the Horde together and addressing Sylvanas polarizing behavior instead of some nebulous moral transgression.
The fact that I don’t think Geya’rah will be killed off seems to imply that they might actually be looking to try and heal the schizophrenic Horde values. Or at least acknowledge them. Having an Orc support Sylvanas over Baine is a pretty big deal, even if she’s Mag’har. MoP 2.0 looks a lot less likely.
Interesting note from Garona.
And Voss.
…And heck, for that matter, Rexxar.
MAYBE THE HORDE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO ALL OF THIS AFTER ALL. Finally.
Nice to see that Zelling is dead also, just in case you were still wondering if there was literally any point to the Horde war campaign at all, the answer is a firm no.
Wait he is dead?
Nooooooooooooooooo
I’m trying really hard not to be annoyed with that.
BUT THIS IS WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE HORDE THINGS. BLIZZARD KEEPS KILLING THEM FOR PATHOS ALMOST AS SOON AS WE MEET THEM.
…The same risk is run by any likeable night elf, too.
Mayla is a queen, effortlessly showing the other cowards who currently saturate the horde what is right.
This is lovely. I swear I read some amazing post suggesting this just the other day…

I don’t think Zelling is dead. Lillian is probably speaking hypothetically. Otherwise there would be more comment from the other characters.
Most of these responses are pretty predictable. Geyah’s is the only one that stands out to me.

Yassssssss
Time to level up my Mag’har warrior.
I love this reactions. It actually makes me think MoP 2.0 is less likely and I’m happy with it.
I particularly love Lor’themar’s reaction. He understands Baine’s actions but knows it puts Baine’s people, Taurens at risk and it’s exactly what he doesn’t want for his people. I also like how Thalyssra is tied to Lor’themar, she’s in the Horde because of Blood Elves after all.
That line sure does explain a lot about the mistakes Orcs make.
“Da Horde gotta stick together if we gonna win dis war” - Rohkan
That’s why Sylvanas exposed and imprisoned Baine!
Or was it Baine that exposed Sylvanas?
Finally thalisrra gives her opinion about anything.
lord themar, once again proved why he is my fav horde character.
“perhaps i should never have left highmountain” lol.
and finally garona showed her plan, so it was not random her presence.
Hypothetical: if the Horde won the war by uniting under Sylvanas until the Alliance was exterminated down to the last man, how many of them do you think could live with themselves afterwards? I think that’s the primary issue they have with Sylvanas’ brand of unity.
I’m all for emojis, but Sylvanas wasn’t hiding squat diddly.
