Ignoring the fact that in the cinematic Ebyssian literally states that Azeroth has blessed us. I felt her presence
Nice try though

No evidence confirming that ever happened. You would need some kind of confirmation of actual evidence outside their borg collective hivemind psychosis. If we could “ever” get any actual objective voice of Azeroth saying “I did such and such” where they aren’t constantly hedging their bets with people like Thrall and Khadgar and Jaina saying “could be azeroth” or “is this azeroth?” etc. But we have none.
We have the literal Earth Warder himself confirming that it was Azeroth
You ignoring the lore isn’t going to change that. At all.
You are arguing semantics with the same person who refuses to accept Archimonde from WoD was the same Archimonde we have fought before because he does not react to us in a satisfactory manner. It is a lost cause.
I’m beginning to notice that. I suppose talking to a brick wall would be more productive at this point
That’s not how lore works. Ebyssian is not the Earth Warder. He is a replacement aspect with power from a mysterious force, probably from Cosmic Team Life, granted inside the Emerald Dream, which refused to speak up.
Thus confirming you don’t have any evidence for them being the same. You believe it because you want it in your head canon.
He is the Earth Warder. And he quite clearly states Azeroth gave the Aspects their powers back. End of story.
Just because YOU don’t like it, doesn’t mean canon events aren’t canon.
Vyranoth: “this is of our world, yet unlike anything i have seen”
Merithra: "this time… "
Ebyssian: “Azeroth blessed us”.
For me those lines are enough evidence that the blessing comes from the world soul. If anyone could recognize that, would be those that received the power.
It literally has nothing to do with what I want. I don’t “want” anything they decided to write for dragonflight, where they ignore the titan keepers and the elemental lords and the shamans and the druids. But they wrote what they wrote, and it does not say that Ebyssian is Earth Warder. At all. His title is “Ebyssian, Aspect of Earth”. They did not get back the titan powers which enabled Neltharion to be called the Earth Warder. Nor does the quote “azeroth blessed us” by ebyssian who isn’t sure what happened, or by Alexstrasza who isn’t sure what happened… confirmation of “stating Azeroth gave their powers back”. You’re literally changing the words into something else. Canon doesn’t work by you substituting your wishes for what was actually shown.
That is the exact fallacy I identified in a past thread. Magni receiving a strange voice in his head back before BFA means he is the “last” one who can objectively confirm what he is being influenced by. Same as Sarkareth receiving a strange voice in his head for the Faceless One fake aberrus lab also being the “last” one who can objectively confirm what he was being influenced by. I could go back to Ner’zhul and his firm belief and claim that he was hearing the ghost of his dead wife Rulkan telling him that he should form a Horde…likewise, he is the “last” one that can objectively confirm what he was being influenced by. When villains are handing out power, their pawns are not the source of confirmation. And surely the Dragons were made into pawns.
Only person changing things are you because it doesn’t fit you fan fiction
Ebyssian is the Earth Aspect/Earth Warder. It’s just something you’re going to have to cope with
Exact opposite. You are changing the words because of your fan fiction.
Facts aren’t fan fiction just because you dislike them
Your fan fiction and what you “wish” is not a fact, especially when you change words into words that weren’t there.
Just because you don’t understand what was said, doesn’t mean anyone changed them
You’re problem, not mine
I kept reading what you posted, read all the way down with all the comments and stumble on to an interesting image with some really interesting pants on a Blood Elf DH! lol
That transmog is going to be VERY popular in the WoW community for sure! (IMO)
Anyway sorry for the side track… got distracted… don’t mind me!
Seems like the changes or expand to the lore will continue going forward into the TWW
All of the aspects have two titles:
Alexstrasza is The Lifebinder and the Aspect of Life
Nozdormu is The Timeless One and Aspect of Time
Kalecgos is The Spellweaver and the Aspect of Magic
Merithra is The Dreamer and the Aspect of Dreams
Ebyssian is The Earthwarder and the Aspect of Earth
Vyranoth is The Frozenheart and the Aspect of Storms
If anything, Ebyssian is also a Shaman, he probably has been more in touch with the earth than Deathwing ever was.
