and take a drink!
No it’s not.
All hail the growing fox army.
no it’s not, i got them all and this doesn’t upset me at all
They’re listening to feedback. No one actually likes grinding to exalted for allied races. If it bothers you they’re listening because you happened to do so, I suggest getting over it.
I’ve unlocked about half of them and good riddance I say. I’d rather people play what they want instead of rewarding sweaty people like myself for spending too much time with locked cosmetics.
Ah metrics, yes … metrics.
It never should have required a rep.
Only a questline at most.
Enjoy those upcoming races fellas, you should have got to play them sooner than this.
As someone who has unlocked every Allied Race, this is 100% the right move to make.
In fact, I believe they should take it a step further and drop the rep requirements for legacy pathfinders down to Honored while they’re at it. This is also coming from someone who has done every pathfinder.
They can compensate us some gold or just keep their heritage sets locked behind a rep requirement.
if they keep heritage armor for those who unlocked them before the changes yes I will be fine with it honestly
Or they could just let people play what they want, when they want.
Ok, get over yourself. “a big slap in the face” is SO overused. It’s a whine, nothing more, and is worthless.
Most of the allied race reputations already have plenty of rewards for grinding them to exalted, be it mounts, pets, toys, and/or tabards.
Actually it makes sense that allied races from previous expansions would be auto unlocked. After all the story arc that explained why and how they joined their faction is over. I mean by Shadowlands they have already been fighting along side their factions for a year or more.
At that point we are well beyond “earning” their trust and loyalty.
Good lord, you two are petty. The only “compensation” I need is what I have: I’m playing a vulpera now instead of having to wait for Shadowlands.
I actually brought up your point in an earlier post, because I felt the same way as you.
To my astonishment, the response I got was either, “Good!” or “I don’t care.”
I guess most players who already did the Exalted grind to unlock the Allied races don’t want the next batch of players to go through what they did.
I think it makes sense to have some rep requirement. The fact that you’ve gone out of your way to help their race provides the incentive for them to join your faction.
But that doesn’t mean it needs to be exalted. I think even honored would be fine really.
Well, at least we get feats of strength achievements, so that’s something.
Sunk cost fallacy.
bugger off.
