Thrall and Jaina are one of the best tragic ships in WoW.
I’m so happy to see them together again.

Seriously, I actually loved the Cinematic; but that look Saurfang gave Thrall … it REALLY felt like “Bro, make your move on that skinny human girl” lol!
Sometimes I wish the person who first coined the phrase “subversion of expectations” or some variation of it, was never born.
It seems to be the beginning of the end of the factions and this is going to be a terrible idea.
Guess without more Night Elves, Sylvanas has to burn the closest thing she has to them Horde-side.
why is Shaw showing sympathy?
why is Shaw showing sympathy to Baine?
Jaina has spent this whole expansion resurrecting and summoning ships.
“Teldrassil burned because we didn’t unite.”
Flashback of united Alliance/Horde burning Nordrassil to kill Archimonde
Didn’t like the cinema. Seems to have been written by an Alliance superfan. Thrall apologizes for the 1000th time, and Jaina the wise and perfect World Hero takes over the rebellion.
Also, Thrall says “I failed Cairne”. No, Blizz had Cairne take the train to stupidtown. Twilight Hammer Cultists killed some Night Elves dressed as Horde, and Cairne fell for it and challenged Garrosh to a duel and then Maghda poisoned Cairne.
I prefer it to a faction conflict that Blizzard is seemingly never going to add nuance to. As long as it is about Horde being bad, I don’t want Blizzard to feel like it can have Horde be the aggressor again.
Ugh. It’s not even about the fact that Sylvanas is most certainly a loot pinata… well okay, that’s a lie. But mostly it’s about how cheesy that entire scene was. How are these people already getting along like this? How many times has Jaina tried to kill me now? How many Horde has she personally killed in the last week? And yes, the other side of that coin is how many Alliance has the Horde killed. A LOT. /looks at Sadfang.
Now listen, if these characters want to ‘break the cycle’ for the millionth time, sure, whatever go ahead. But they should not be crying on each others shoulders like they’re all in the same damn support group. I have to imagine my characters are out of frame violently dry heaving at having witnessed these sad sacks just hug it out.
Azeroth’s Bizarre Adventure: Genocide is Forgivable.
Probably doesn’t help that unless you have watched it on YouTube or have a high level Alliance alt, Horde players aren’t going to see her character arc.
Did you not see how tenderly she touched Thrall’s bicep?
When they said burn down Thunderbluff I had vision of Sylvanas burning the plateaus themselves.
I can actually see blizzard doing that.
Don’t forget Ironforge.
Genocide was never even a major issue. Now raising some ones brother to turn into a weapon is what’s truly unforgivable. Apparently…
They might do what they did with Garrosh/SOO when everyone thought we killed the large majority of Orcs and just pretend like 1% of Night Elves died on Teldrassil.
“Teldrassil was all evacuated lol”
It is like they realized how bad the genocide made the Horde when they wanted the Horde PC to actually enjoy fighting for the Horde outside of “she is being sinister” moments. Immediate wide dissent was not part of their desired story, so they had it just not be talked about.
I really want to believe this, I really, really do.
We would need a third faction to get away from these idiots.
