I’m guessing Sylvannas submits for judgement and Tyrande after waking up suddenly forgives her for making the choice to burn their capital down and kill everyone on her way to it.

So you now all see that Arthas was a hero, he knew what kind of a person she was and tried to spare us all by killing her.
She was supposed to be this mindless banshee, puttering around the Ghostlands, being farmed by level 5 blood elves, but things went off the rails a bit and here we are.

The fact that they are going that route is actually something that redeems this expansion some to me. See this sounds more like a character that plausibly does have both halves of her soul again and as such has both extreme rage for what a half of her did, but also has come to terms with the fact that she gave those orders and that there needs to be a final reckoning on it.
It has the potential to be done right. If it is done right (and that is not me saying ‘kill her or else!’), then I will have a renewed faith in the author at the helm. I adore Golden, (I liked Knaak) but the jury is still out on the others.
The only author I can honestly say that I dislike and will never buy the works of, is the one that was homaged in Maldraxxus. Prime reason? Because it is violating Blizzard’s policy on NPCs, but was given a pass because it’s a woman.
But then again, as a general rule I loath double standards, and believe that racial hatred has no place regardless of who it is directed toward. Those two things are something I can never support.

He did nothing until some hack of a writer went back recon the story to add the man behind the man to had it all built up to a big “who is this guy?” The jailer has been nothing but a villain who falls depressingly short of their own hype. More deserving of a slap across the face than a whole climatic battle, they are not even a remotely credible threat as they have no build up, nor motive than They bad so they do bad. You want to hate them, but all you can muster up is pity for how lazy they were written in.

It’s a pretty dumb idea I’d say, sure undeath warps your personality but it isn’t a get out of jail free card as you’re still capable of making your own choices.
Considering that Sylvannas joined forces with someone that’s sucking every soul into a black hole of death and torture with the plan to kill as many men, women and children as possible to fuel his armies I don’t think a sudden change of heart should allow her to escape justice, especially from the perspective of someone who was responsible for protecting those people and swore to avenge them.
