Ok, but…like…how? How are the elements reaching him in the Maw? Is there even elementals in the Shadowlands? Is this explored in the Shadowlands for Shaman?
He’d just whine incessantly until you found him another ax.
This makes me so sad, the acting in wow is just like going to a theater stage show where everything is overly dramatic and every line is read out in a big pompous manner. Where is the nuance? the atmosphere?
Also it boggles my mind that when I found Thrall, Jaina, Baine in Torghast, the clothes were still immaculate. And what had they been eating and drinking in there? I guess Jaina could have conjured water and eaten roasted maw rat but the others?
More importantly, he lost his powers and keeps only getting them back when it’s convenient.
I wouldn’t wonder how the elements can reach the maw, I would wonder why blizz can’t remain consistent with anything.

In one timeline she actually went through with flooding Orgrimmar and became corrupt in her rage and evil, thought that’s all we know about that. And it may have to do with age, Kadghar’s older and she’s young. There was also Medivh’s mother who was great.

Maybe they can commune with the Life element? This is just so weird.
He didn’t lose them. He just didn’t have the confidence in himself and the elements simply stopped responding during those times.

I was wonder how long it would take for leaving an instrument of the Jailer’s in the middle of some kind of channeling table two feet from another instrument of the Jailer who was using it to connect to the realm of the Jailer to turn out to be a bad idea.
You know why the world keeps almost ending because we keep helping the bad guys!
Finding Thrall a new axe will become a weekly Maw quest in the next patch.

Well, no one said their storytelling was stellar. 
I get the sense they did it largely because it seemed like in Legion they wanted to write Metzen’s characters out of the story since he was leaving Blizzard.
and Thrall just gets carted out every once in a while because he’s a major well known lore character.
Yeah, that’s what Malfurion wants everyone to think.
