…Brokers. I(and I am sure many others) suspected there was some connection between the two merchantile races and we now know they come from the same planet.

And two of its most in/famous characters know each other

Projection of Ve’nari: Oh. As I suspected. The Shadowguard are after you as well?
Locus-Walker: I have not seen you since the destruction of our world. As I preferred it.
Projection of Ve’nari: Such fangs, Locus-Walker. You wound me. Yet unfortunate as it may be, it seems we must work together one last time. Come, we have much to discuss.

I always predicted Brokers were just Ethereals that died or something and ended up in Shadowlands like everyone else.

Nice to see Ve’nari is alive. I liked her in Shadowlands.

The only thing that bothers me:

What are the odds the one broker we made friends with and allied with just HAPPENS to be old acquaintances with the one Ethereal who has allied with us (for more than just transmog/storage) as well?

Not a fan of things like that.

I’d put money on this being a rewrite and not the original lore when they made the brokers.
which is fine, brokers should’ve always just been ethereals.

The brokers were one of the better concepts to come out of SL, and that’s mainly because they were just offbrand ethereals.
