Hopefully the part where she floats off the edge of reality and an actual villain can emerge.
I know everyone wants to forget about the Jailer and the First Ones and shadowlands in general, but unfortunately, all of that is part of the lore now. The Jailer wanted to unite the cosmos against “something” and whatever that something is, will be the final ultimate boss of the game, probably. Maybe the first ones themselves? I dunno, but those are some dangling threads that need tying up
Well as he shows, void lords who have defeated over void lords can effectively use them as pawns
So we just killed a super powerful void lord who has an army of lesser ones as his tools, and how he’s the tool of Xal’atath, so we just armed our enemy with a much bigger weapon
So he spends 3+ minutes charging up his attack and still dosent get it off?
Is this a DBZ crossover?
It feels like we’ve had the void lords dangled in the background as the ultimate cosmic threat (even the motivation for Sargeras’ actions all along) for so long that it feels a bit weird to suddenly face one head-on at the end of only the first expansion of the saga.
Are we in for a twist ending or have I over-inflated their importance in my imagination?

There is a twist ending, or rather I should say an EXPECTED ending… we kill Dimensius again and Xal’atath slurps up his Voidy puddle to become the most over blown villain of three whole expansions…
Maybe he should see a doctor

Dimensius gets mad we hurt him and flies away through a portal, screaming “THIS ISN’T OVER, ‘HEROES!’”
Probably won’t happen, but would be on-par with current Blizzard writing.
Turns out he’s just a black hole eventually consuming the whole galaxy. Anything you blast at him just makes his gravitational effect stronger.
We use the Dark Heart on Dimensius and am able to absorb every bit of his “all devouring” void energy leaving a shriveled husk that we can kill. As for the Dark heart it will be at max capacity and when our back is turned Xalathas will steal it and use it against the Sunwell.
One of these days we will learn that any magic object we find needs to be immediately launched into the sun. The one skill we as a player base have never learned is how to guard an object. It is stolen every single time.

My guess is that Alleria will ghostbuster herself into the next Gozer and Xalatoes will sneak back into the shadows stealing a portal to the void lord home world that’s secretly on the dark side of Azeroth all along
