Splintered Spark of Shadowflame buy for mistake and nonexistent Support for BUGs solutions

Well, take care when you buy an Item that would be refundable.

The game stack merges it in the same stack and you’re unable to get a refund from the vendor, and Blizzard support is a big part of the problem since they don’t even care about checking logs to solve situations like this as they have done in the past.

I got a Splintered Spark of Shadowflame by mistake and had another in my bag. So… They merged, and I was unable to take the currency spent back to buy what I really want it.

Yes, clicking it wrong was my fault. But the game not splitting refundable from nonrefundable was a REALLY bad game design and a bug for sure.

Sometimes I ask myself why I still play games from Blizzard, despite having good games they lack customer support.

And probably from my last 10 tickets they really helped in one, maybe. (That was also a bug, but… That time they could help. Apparently, it’s a random thing.)

Hope this works, since they’re known for solving situations like this in players’ favors…

Hi,

I bought [Splintered Spark of Shadowflame] by mistake from the vendor, but since I got another one in my bag it has merged and prevented me to sell it and get the currency back.

This happened yesterday and I haven’t spent two hours playing the game yet.

I also tried to split them in two, as you can see on this print. But even so, there’s nothing allowing me to take the currency back.

Please, I would like to get the currency back to get a season [2] socket instead.

I understand how these things can be bothersome indeed. However, please keep in mind that there are mechanics in place to help players prevent mistakes like these, such as the 2h vendor refund timer. Although we really do sympathize with your predicament, regrettably, we Game Masters cannot refund or exchange item purchases, nor return any spent currency.
If we were to make an exception for you, then we would have to do the same for every other players that requests it, which in turn would create unbalance within the game world, make player’s actions inconsequential and certain game mechanics would become obsolete. Ultimately, it would go against the intended gameplay experience that our developers work so hard to craft.
We really hope the Splintered Spark of Shadowflame can still be useful to you in your adventures.

Hello Howdy,

I don’t want an exception. I want a solution for a BUG, when I got the Item it merged with another I got in the bag. That’s the reason I could not sell it to the NPC.

I think if it was a BUG you’re able to fix it, right?

This is not an exception, was an error. Since this is a refundable item, it could not be stacked with other that was not.

Hope that this clarifies the matter, I spent a lot of time and money in a paid game to have those kinds of bugs not fixed properly.

In time, you can check if that was a bug just by looking at the log.

This Item has not been 2 hours active in my bag at the time I made the complaint, and since I’m not playing this game as I used to, I think it still is.

So, could you please look at it considering that was a game error?

Hello Game Master,

would be possible having a refund for my remaining game time? I’m really unhappy with game support, or the absence of it.

Especially when it happens for an error that occurs and was not my fault (buying the wrong item, yes… My fault, not being able to sell and get my currency back in 2 hours, yours).

I don’t know when you lost this, but game support had an amazing role before. But currently is lacking of it, and I don’t know if is a new police… But I won’t like playing a game with this kind of disregard for me as a player.

Not even looking at the log to check if I’m right on my claim, and make a simple correction (that we all know is simple) it’s something that makes all players make jokes “Well… this is a free game, it supposes to have unsolved bugs”.

We pay for expansion and game time. The minimum I would like is the support that really looks for my issue, and if confirmed, correct it.

Really disappointing.
