Spitting on Store Mounts

The funny thing is your suggestion would promote people to spit on those mounts more often.

It also doubles down on why people spit on store mounts, the extra details and higher quality than what is available in game.

/spit

Make a daily quest to spit on X amount of mounts… each time you do it you get a Mount Fragment, collect enough fragments and you get a special Salvia mount.

I mean we were basically comparing the the lack of content to other games, there is some comparison there, dark souls 10/10 content, wow bfa is like 3-4/10 if they were brought up to the same standard and that’s only considering the initial game and or expansion cost for either. The only thing they’d have to do is turn ds into an mmo and it would out do wow at that point, but I’m sure if they did a sub dark souls in turn would be worth more to play that wow is currently, just hope shadowlands is a lot better.

There is so many technical limitations to that though which would bring up costs. If it was even possible. Solo games prioritize things that MMo’s can’t. The engines don’t cross well.

That’s like saying the only thing you have to do is add some wings to a car and you’ll have a successful plane.

I totally forgot about emotes in this game. I turned them off in chat back around wrath. Hell I don’t even notice chat anymore with discord around

It’s not that far out there, there is already a limited amount of cooperative play in dark souls, literally if you look at the games side by side not taking into account the tuning of making ds into an mmo is repeatability and motivation for doing it. If you added those two things it would have more content just from that than the entirety of bfa. Obviously not taking into account pet battling and all the casual crap that they have in here that is meaningless.

I remember someone trying to kick a person from a raid many years ago because they had one of those mog helms. I’ve seen some juvenalia over the years but that one takes the taquito

Fallout 76 I know but here is how the effort of making Fallout 4 into Fallout 76 turned out the way it has. All the complications you run into when turning a single player into a MMo. Its a nightmare.

I agree but I was only considering the content, dark souls in it current state wouldn’t make for a great mmo yes but getting your moneys worth on content that’s enjoyable and difficult at the same time is what I was really looking at instead of sitting afk in town.

I see. So you choose not to interact with the things to do outside of town. I understand the issue.

Dark Souls, the game that can be beaten in 30 mins has more content than BFA?

They are ignoring 90% of the content because all they do is sit in town and queu. I’m not even sure if they are counting the leveling experience.

Must’ve been playing it on easy mode, I mean doing a weeks worth content in wow takes what 3-4 hours. Takes typically the average player anywhere from 1-7 days on hard. Demon souls was a joke so we can’t even use that as a comparison.

Says the Blizzard shill.

Nah. I don’t care enough to bother.

What the chore to get to the actual game, no I wasn’t really but you could add that to dark souls and it’d still be better if it was brought up to the same standard.

yes I’m aware if you make your fantasy dream game. It’d be better. Of course anything that has the things you want would be better if you brought up the standards…

except

they don’t. You are comparing a fantasy to an actual thing. You are comparing Dragons to Airplanes.

some of the mounts are just sub reward mounts. so not really a net cost. if anything you end up saving the amount you would end up spending on the mount and pay less than the person who pays month to month.

estimated savings for 6 months is like 24.00 and then you save an extra 25.00 on the mount. great value for effectively less than 25 cents a day.

The entire point of the convo was pointing out the lack of content to do each week that is actually a core part of the game/meaningful and enjoyable to another, them being a single player game or multiplayer game in the long run doesn’t mean anything. Just saying the lack of content for the entirety of bfa is embarrassing and they were overpaid especially with this game being a sub game when you could get more content and enjoyment elsewhere but since there aren’t other mmos that have taken off like wow there’s not much to compare it to.

But you can literally play for like 3 hours a week and get everything done in wow that’s the latest content, mythic prog is the only thing that takes the longest but once you clear it a few times typically those guilds only raid for a couple hours a week and maybe 1 dungeon a week for the average raid logger. If you were to make ds repeatable you’d get much more playtime out of it not to mention more enjoyment than disappointment from how dumbed down easy bfa is with no gratification for doing anything, gear as a reward is meaningless as well.

Wow.
This thread has been enlightening.
I’ve paid for a six month sub for a while now. Well before they started handing out mounts for it. While I enjoy getting these items I also have some misgivings as the money/time could have been invested in something everyone could enjoy.

Never had anybody spit on me/the mount that I’m aware of. But if I did see the emote I’d probably give them a /hug or /pat. This game should be enjoyable not that upsetting or frustrating.
