I can’t anymore lol. All you do is use If statements for things that don’t exist and don’t for a reason. How am I suppose to argue that a airplane is better then a dragon. That reality is better then some made up myth. There is no winning.
Keep on hoping for that game though , maybe it will live when technical limitations are lifted.
I mean if making ds repeatable, make it into an mmo to bring it up to the mmo standard then comparing the content between the two is too difficult to imagine the convo from the start was and I always expected it to never come to a resolution.
What else would you compare it to is my guess, nothing else on the market even compares to wow nor would it with how long wow has been out, you’d have to imagine that in order to compare wow to any other game you’d have to also turn that other game into an mmo standard then compare the content between the two as if both had been out for 16 years, then the amount of time spent on each if they were both repeatable and most importantly which one is more enjoyable just comparing the single version of the game without a sub compared to the lack of content of the entirety of bfa. I personally think you’d spend more time in ds than wow, but I mean if you can’t use your imagination and aren’t innovative then I guess like I said there was no point to this convo.
People are jerks, sadly more often then naught. Speaking for myself, I don’t care if someone doesn’t like I bought a store mount. If you’re such a shallow person that you feel better by /-spitting on me; then whatever and have a lovely day.
You see threads often that say something to the effect that “I don’t like doing that content, mounts should only be available from the content I like doing.”
I just think anything and everything that’s worthwhile acquiring should be gated behind difficult to rare drop % content. If it was me personally I wouldn’t have store mounts in the game but that’s the reason why they added them, to give those people that would rarely if ever get an ingame mount through effort/time/skill doing content in the game a cool looking mount, tbh only a couple of them at least to me are decent looking but everyone’s going to have a different opinion.
I feel like it should be like that for mog as well like it used to be before transmog or at least on default sets, most armor sets have been pretty disappointing. I mean the last relevant armor set I even wanted was in nighthold and it was the warrior plate set, before that was in wod from black rock foundry. I feel like mog/mounts and gear are the only real rewards in this game worth striving for, not being a loot hog but it is nice even if one of your guildies gets gear and such but as far as collecting and improving your toon gear is by far the most rewarding other than in bfa where it’s basically thrown out like they’re having a fire sale.
But for me I’d probably rarely ever use them over another mythic raid mount or rare drop tbh, I have a couple already and plan on getting the blue drake thing at some point but they’re technically just to me a +1.
Exactly my point. You are one of the people who wants everything worth having gated behind your favorite content and nothing for anyone who does any other content.
This is why we still see demands that falcosaur mounts, that you raise from pets, should be taken away from pet battling and put as a reward for difficult content.
You don’t exactly need to be skilled to get lucky farming invincible or old content so your point is invalid as far as I’m concerned.
Never heard of that mount nor do I care about it, sounds like you’re making up a problem when there isn’t one with a mount that sounds like it resembles the valentines day mount that floods the market for 5-10k every year.
There were 4 mounts that could be earned in Legion by adopting orphan falcosaur chicks and doing lots of pet battles and some other Legion content as well. I earned them when they were current. But now we often hear gripes that they still require pet battles.
The “Valentine’s Day mount”. You mean the Big Love Rocket that is soulbound, and one of the rarest mounts in the game? You have never seen that for sale.
But as far as I’m concerned that type of thinking says this to me.
You’re watching a basketball team in a stadium and they give out a medal to the winning team, but not only that they give it to the losing team and the crowd. When everyone gets it it’s no longer desirable or special/unique, the core hound is the perfect example for this, although it was a limited time item I rarely if ever see people that have it using it because it was given out for basically no effort other than suffering through lfr with a bunch of afkers. Those types of rewards don’t interest me and from the looks of it anyone else. It’s like getting a really nice vehicle but oh wait everyone else has the same vehicle, removes the prestige for having it and in the end noone wants it at least for the showy value it gives by getting it behind difficult or rare content.
