Spitballin': Crusader Aura in SOD, but called "War Party" and given to warrior?

So, I like spit balling ideas. So far from what I’ve seen, Classic players absolutely hate new ideas, but at the same time I don’t really have anywhere to just vibe and think about new things, so screw it I’ll let you all flame me here!

I love crusader aura, honestly. In a BG when you’re all grouped up, and someone flips on Crusader Aura, it feels like you’re about to go burn and pillage together.

Obviously it would be dumb to have Crusader Aura on paladin only, because then they’d have to find some annoying way to give it to shaman without it being the same thing, etc.

So I was thinking of a name that would fit the Crusader Aura feel, and thought of War Party, and then really only the warrior would make sense having an ability like that.

I love “aura” type abilities in WoW for some reason. Loved them in D2 too.

That sounds pretty awesome.

How about a Cavalry Charge rune that you can activate every few minutes to give all mounted players in your party a movement boost? Kind of like an AoE-sprint. I can imagine some pretty funny BG shenanigans happening with these.

I can also see Hunters getting this, they already gave us Kings.

Also, making mounts go faster fits for the Hunter class fantasy.

warriors need to remain where they are. protecting the real dps range classes
