It is more than whack, it is incompetency. They apparently rushed these loot boxes without proper testing. Then instead of testing this stuff in the PTR, like it should have been the first time they tried this BG stuff and where bugs like this can be found without fear of getting your account banned, they instead drop it in prod. Every best practice of development is being broken here.
It is a cluster.

they create a LIVE (because weāre playing on āliveā servers) beta testing and they ban people for this? why having a PTR server then?

Because Blizzard is an incompetent company that doesnāt care about anything other than money. Probably letting off some steam now that the lawsuit is happening with CA and everyone knows theyāre all sexual deviants

Imagine putting smth for the PTR into the live game and then, when it inevitably bugs, you ban the players for it.
7 day bans as a secret reward box goodie, im sure that will make alliance pvp more Lizzard. Gj.
Why donāt you roll out the free (jk, paid ofc) Faction change service already and get this charade over with. World of Hordecraft.
Just wanted to update this with while looking through discords for AV premades, I found a player who was banned 183 Days for this now

depends on the amount of tickets, but usually 24-72 hours
Lmao their banning system is a complete joke. They say every ban is looked at by humans. That is a complete lie lmfao. I really hope they can pull their heads out and get back to bringing me dual spec instead of worrying about extra spirit shards for the poor alliance.
Im sure some people actually did abuse it though.
Do you know how many bugs their are that are still being exploited since the start. I get it, itās their game and they make the rules but they shouldnāt just pick and choose which exploits are bannable and which ones arenāt especially when they know about certain bugs and they donāt even fix them lol
Oh, to be sure, there probably were . But if you are going to take the risk of running a āTESTā in production, then you need to have some additional scrutiny put on things like this. Banning people for finding a bug, because you did not have the time or put in the effort to properly test something in the PTR is just WRONG!
