Just got a drop form the Dawn of the Infinite Flight (Imbued Frostweave Slippers) with +485 Spirit as a teriery stat on live. When equipped doesn’t seem to show up on my stats (no spirit stat appears); maybe they bringing it back next patch?
Probably a UI bug from an addon.

Considering the other stats on some of the loot in there, I think it might just be a one off thing. But maybe that’s copium because I don’t want spirit back.

Does it do anything at all when equipped, though? Like does spirit still work, even if items don’t have it?

Ok, read the WOWhead article and there’s a handful of other old stats they put on different items. In this case spirit grants some mana back from spells and abilities, but is not the old Spirit stat returning.
- According to the [Spirit] spell added in Patch 10.1.5, this item has a chance to return Mana back on ability uses.

this needs to be a permanent, new tertiary stat next season

This shows up in details under mana restored, I get back 72 Mana per global. Did some basic testing, after the nerf.
It does not seem to be a proc effect, just a slow mana regen.
