The Spirit Drinker event quest is bugged in Uldum. NPC just sits at 1% hp and is unattackable.
Update: Day 3 of yet another bugged Spirit Drinker. Im missing out on so much rep because of this.

still bugged on Friday. Blizzard devs, if it’s taking you a while to fix it, please at least take it out of the event offerings list until it’s fixed.

Been server hopping for about 20 minutes now and have only managed to find one where it wasn’t bugged, but that group was a raid so I couldn’t even get credit for it. I really don’t know why it hasn’t been taken out of the rotation of event dailies yet.
Edit: 4 hours later, still haven’t found another that isn’t bugged. Guess I’m just missing this rep today. :\

The process for killing him is to take his health to 1 without killing the four Tol’vir walking with him. Then he starts draining them to heal. and just interact with each one to break the process, then you’re able to kill him and complete the event.
He’s just sitting there at 1 hp with no mobs around him untargettable, please have the facts before you come kramering into a thread ty

If there’s a specific way to kill him and you fail it should bloody reset, at the very least when you move out of aggro range, not sit there infinitely stuck at 2hp/0% and unattackable.
Its 100% bugged. We know how the event works. You probably got lucky on a non-bugged server, but its bugged on a majority of servers.

Don’t mistake bugged with morons who don’t know how to do the event thus missing out on the rare event.
Also fyi, the 4 mobs respawn regularly on a timer similar to other rares 
So maybe just camp it out and inform others how to do it so they dont kill the 4 mobs, that’s what i do when i get my daily kill.
Okay, so how long is the respawn timer? I’ve never seen this active.
Once the event is bugged out, it stays bugged out. The related mobs never respawn so long as the Spirit Drinker is stuck at 2% HP.

still bugged, wtf!?
Bugged again today. The two bugs I’ve seen so far are the Spirit Drinker gets stuck at low HP becoming unattackable or the Spirit Drinker isn’t up at all but the adds are up and just wandering around. No amount of waiting has resulted in either fixing itself.
This was bugged for the entirety of the PTR cycle. It’s terrible that it hasn’t been fixed yet. The events should be disabled from spawning in the rotation until a fix is made, IMO.

Still bugged today. Adds are currently friendly and just following the patrol path. Spirit Drinker isn’t spawning though.
