so it seems that the dragonflight nerf to SB has completely killed them asd pets as their heal is worthles compared to even the nerfed leech of tenacity pets

I noticed this in delves. I would use my spirit beast to tank because it’s a tanking pet but I noticed that my basic cat was healing itself way more from the leech. Plus I get access to lust.

Yeah, Ferocity pets have been better tank pets in PvE for several expansions now. Tenacity gives you and your pet a bit more health and an extra defensive cooldown (but you give up lust for it).

Exactly, before the spirit mend nerf a SB could outhral the leech. They nerfed it back in shadowlands and it disnt scale in dragon… now once sought after pets serve no purpose.

I mean cunning pets at least help you run faster clearing old raid for transmog.

A 150k for 10 sec heal
with easily 3.5m health.

What pets do you use now? I’ve been loyal to SBs whenever I play BM, but now I’m not too sure anymore

Spirit Beast for instanced content and ferocity for everything not pvp related.

Why do you still use SB for instanced content?

Unless I’m soloing delves tenacity pets are just better at keeping me alive.

Why would you not use a tenacity in delves?? A cleftoof is immortal.

Not sure if I’m misinterpreting the intent of your comment, but clefthooves are ferocity pets (for some odd reason).

Have you looked at Tundra Rhino? It used the Icy Blue Armoredon, and listened as a Scalehide. However, it is a Clefthoof after taming.

Outside of high delves/PvP after considering if you need defensive or lust pets are purely cosmetic. 99.9% of raids or dungeons your pet family ability is useless

Yep, Spirit Beasts are entirely useless and need a rework/visual update to be made unique and special again.

Also pet specs need to be brought back so you can choose what you want you’re pet to be.
The saying “pet specs were limiting choice” is hilarious when the current system literally limits us more than ever before.
