and then the vast majority of us were like “yeah ok fairbanks it is”
and then the spirestone horde like malatov etc (<3) rather than rolling fairbanks horde have decided to go to grobbulus horde?

Yeah this sucks for me. Playing on a West coast server back in the day wasn’t an issue due to being a kid and young adult without many responsibilities. But now, because of real life and work etc, I have to be in a EST server. So it appears I’ll be split from most of our old community.
Herod seems to be over populated and a GM said the ques could be well over 10k. They opened a new EST pvp server Stalaag. I’ll most likely be rolling there.
Because fairbanks is where its at!

No I am sorry I dont but I am bad with names but for some reason Drasnith is a name I recall. I am seeing a lot of names that are familiar and I wish I could recall some more.
It occurs to me if I start telling some stories about playing Wow I might jog someone else’s memory.
One of my favorite stories of playing wow back in Vanilla was my first All Hallows Eve. We had the treats and the dunking for apples and the wands that transformed you. In this case skeletons. I was running around participating and gathering mats for Alchemy and I decided I needed to run Stocks. I had reached the level and it seemed like a good idea.
Now what happened next was a bit spur of the moment but I had already been turned into a skeleton and I had a skeleton wand. So we begin Stocks with three of us as Skeletons and two others who are not and after the first room it occurs to us to get us all as Skeletons because of the laugh. You see back then if you were transformed as a Skeleton you had a different laugh, an EVIL laugh.
So there all five of us were running Stocks as Skeletons and we could all not stop laughing this EVIL Skeleton laugh for the entire run.
They changed this later and I still miss that.

Btw Dolyan I saw your post on the horde side so I apologize for the late response. Didn’t know we had conflict haha ;). Definitely remember your guild. Very fun times in those bgs. Is Ninefingers still around or planning to come back? That dude fun to battle against. Hopefully most of vanilla Spirestone can get on a server together. Cheers y’all

EDIT: (This is Fellyna )Hey Drasnith, I cant remember what guild you were GM of but I think we had a meeting to merge or something, I was a GM of the original Fate, I thought it was Dept. of Defense, maybe not. I was also in Monster Hunters (preFate) and Legio Draconis (Postfate). I know its all really hard to remember at this point. Also I think you knew my sister Silverfir if you were DoD.
