Spine of deathwing needs a nerf

Lets be real, same as hellfire assault. Those fights are way to hard for people just trying to farm mounts. Can you just nerf the roll mechanic at this point, no ones actually raiding that raid anymore.

Spine is super easy. It’s just boring as all get out. All you have to do is stand on one of the wounds as Deathwing rolls around, while you wait for enough bloods to spawn. I go AFK during the fight.

This, yes. You cannot be thrown off while standing in a wound.

Or do what I do and stand in the middle.

No, you don’t have to do that.

Step 1.) Kill three out of the four tentacles. Kill the amalgamations that spawn.
Step 2.) Stand in a hole by the armor plate. Don’t kill the fourth tentacle.
Step 3.) Let 9 bloods spawn. You don’t have to move and if you’re level 110+ you can afk. Turn off or take off anything that does damage when you’re hit.
Step 4.) When you get 9 bloods, kill them right next to the armor plate. Middle/spine is best.
Step 5.) Kill the fourth tentacle and wait for the amalgamation to spawn. Run him through the blood. You might have to run back and forth a couple of times.
Step 6.) Kill amalgamation when he’s at the 8 stacks then kill the tendon. Make sure you’re in a hole when he explodes.
Step 7.) Repeat.

The important thing to remember is to stand in an empty whole the entire time until you need to run an amalgamation through bloods. I always let at least 10 or more bloods to spawn to make it easier for the amalgamation to collect them and to reduce the amount of times I have to go back and forth.

Oh and another tip is to turn on health bars above enemies. Makes it easier to know when you have 9 bloods.

OP doesn’t understand the mechanics of the fight or how to do it correctly so before even attempting to learn it’s off to the forums to demand a nerf.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

I wish they nerfed mythic Kil’Jaeden. Orb dancing is too hard for pugs and the mythic lockout system limits my wiping potential.

Yes of course there are ways to complete this solo. Also no reason to not make the spin less sensitive. If blizzard made the center spot slightly wider it would work without destroying the mechanic.

But im not sure calling for nerf was needed OP. Did you try google? Or talking to people in game? Maybe mention some solutions instead of nerf cry.

I was floored when a full group of 120s were wiping on Mythic KJ. It was just after BfA came out but still. I thought it was going to be overkill.

I think it took us… 20ish? wipes to get him down? I figured with people having 400 ilevel now it would be easy.

Sit on a tentacle hole, AFK until 9 slimes are up.

It’s not hard, it’s just time consuming.

Spine of Deathwing is easily solved through the use of Q&E if you’re on basic keybindings. No threat whatsoever. HFC’s first encounter, on the other hand, does need to be fixed.

Make sure you don’t have any passive talents or gear that does damage passively.

If you do, you’ll kill the oozes before it’s time
