Since this evening, WoW has become very unstable for me. I now get hard crashes/reboots while dragonriding; this has happened four times tonight, sometimes within minutes of the previous reboot.
Basically, while dragonriding, I get the spinning beachball and the game (as well as the entire system) freezes – although the audio continues in the background. If I wait long enough (I assume there’s a core dump in progress), then the system restarts and sends me back to the login screen – although once it actually executed a hard shutdown. I saw this for a while towards the start of DF, but it had been resolved well before TWW came out.
Running Sonoma 14.6.1 on an Intel Mac Mini with a Vega64/eGPU setup. And yes, I know (now) I should never have upgraded to 14 on an Intel machine, but it’s a little hard to revert…
