Because spiders are awesome. I was able to farm 2 million gold at the start of the expansion and have been rocking that spider since.

I hate spiders they are creepy. The only exception is the Nazmir Bloodswarmer?, which is actually pretty cute.

Vicious war spider is even better than the gold one, and the best part is: I don’t need to farm gold for it.

Honestly, the spider models are one of they few things the art team does right when it comes to creature design.

Honestly think the PvP spiders look worse (though still great) than Legion’s. I just like it a whole lot more without all the armor.

Wish I can use my MechaSpider as a mount.
Wish I had bout Spider mount when I had the gold. Oh well… we need more creepy crawlies.

Keeps the art fresh, on point and stands out amongst all the frilly valley girl cosmetics.

I like the Legion one and it always gives me a little fright when I see someone run past me on one.

Someday I may purchase it.

I do notice since using the mount there have been more players that stop moving after I ride past them. I often wonder what they’re thinking after seeing a giant spider, more so since I ride with size increasing buffs.

I’m glad they added the viscous war spider. What’s funny is that Blizzard had stated they wouldn’t use the 2 million gold mount for reskins as it would invalidate those that spent the gold on it. I’m glad they changed their mind though.

I’d prefer if they deleted the spider mount from the game, but I’m sure the 12 people out there that actually like spiders would be upset.

So am I. I love seeing more spider mounts in the game, or just more spiders in general.

Spider mounts are lame till they can climb up walls.

The legion one is so much better than those pvp knockoffs.

At least they can walk on water like real spiders now.

Needed:

  • Climb walls and ceilings…
  • Carry passengers by wrapping them in a cocoon and picking them up by the mandibles, or dragging them by a cord of silk…
  • Gliding by throwing up a net of webbing in the air…
  • Immunity to attack by hostile spiders, because professional courtesy.

I have 5 accounts. Not all of them are active now, but just imagine seeing 5 spiders go past.

The Bloodfang Widow is an awesome mount. It’s my ground mount of choice on most characters.
