Spider Mount: Doesn't Fly!

I am furious!

I toiled on this dreadful questline for weeks and finally-finally-got enough of those stupid junk chain coils or whatever they are to make the mount.

I get the mount. It is a mechanical spider. And guess what?

It does not fly!

What???

I just get flying and I can’t even use this mechanical mount to fly?!?

Is this a joke?

It is mechanical-it should fly!!!

This is a terrible slap in the face.

Fix this Blizzard! We the players demand this spider fly!

Gotta agree with my boy Rast here, it does suck that a lot of the really cool mounts can’t fly. But yeah, what made you think a giant mechanical spider could fly?

The animation it does when you press the space bar, I thought it could turn into a form of a motor cycle. Like a different way it moves anyways.

Edit: by different form, I was thinking the form it uses its legs would be to help for mobility, but the other form would be for speed, but it cant turn as quickly so to speak.

Or in the case of the seahorses, physically cannot be used outside of water or one zone with a consumable. Hell, even if they could just float along the ground or something they could be used in BGs.

This man wants flying spiders, satan has emerged on the forums wishing to make this world worse! Thoughts like this are going to be the reason we have scary flying old god spiders in the next expansion.

While I wasn’t expecting flight, the mount does have a flight form already developed. You can see it if you run an alt through the intro Mechagon quests after unlocking flight, the Mechagnome that goes with you to Junkwatt rides one and if you use a flying mount it kinda folds up a bit and flies next to you.
