Instead of just having Chromie, we should have Chromie and Morchie on opposite hourglasses, bickering.
And you can choose which one sends you back in time.
Every time someone chooses Chromie, the WoW community gets one Chromie point, and every time someone chooses Morchie, the WoW community gets one Morchie point.
When we all have enough points, we all get some reward.
Chromie rewards look heroic, and Morchie rewards look villainous 
nah take the hourglass and go bowling with it.
Both Chromie and Morchie time have you occasionally get jumped by dragonkin, Bronze or Infinite depending on your choice.
They drop a currency that can be exchanged for gear rewards once you leave Chromie\Morchie time so you aren’t a ton of item levels below the starting point for the current expansion.
Turning the tokens in also contributes a bunch of points towards the global rewards.
