Transmoging your gear should be 100% free… it’s insane how 1 set of transmog costs more than 700g.
Can we get actual real reason why is this not like barbers/ free? and don’t tell me gold sink please we already have so many things to gold sink in game. l

I’d buy that if there weren’t like 3-5 WQs that award 800g each up every 3 days or so.
It’s a silly thing for mogging to cost gold. At least give us like 10 templates or favorites we can create and switch between with no cost.

I’m not, not everyone plays the game the way you do… trust me, some people only AFK at Godlshire and do PVP…
But that’s exactly what it’s for… gold sink. I’m mean it’s like you’re asking “what’s 1+1, and don’t tell me it’s 2!” 
I feel like it should at least work like Diablo IV does where you mog the slot. It stays there until you mog it with something different. It should be a single time cost until you mog something different.

If you’re changing that often then that’s the price of looking good. If you’re replacing gear that often then congrats on the gear, vendoring the old stuff pays for the new.
Transmog being per-slot would sort of be nice, but I also like to be able to visibly see that I’m wearing the wrong set.
Transmog like repair bills is based on the the item level, the higher the item level of the item you want to transmog the more gold it costs. You can test it by transmogging heirlooms which have an item level of essentially 1 or an item from Molten Core or Dragon Soul, they are far cheaper to transmog than an item from Undermine or season 2 delve content.
Perhaps transmogging the slot rather than the item would be a better way of handling it or maybe a reduced price if you transmog at the NPC in capital cities with a higher cost if you transmog via the NPCs on the Grand expedition Yak or pack Grissly mount.
It’s crazy how there are so many people against having to pay zero gold to transmog your gear… insane…
I guess these are the same people that likes to pay $260 bucks for a haircut also. and acts like it’s fine.

Fashion is cutthroat competition. I understand OP being pissed they had to pay gold for that look, but choose a better fit and it ceases to be a problem.
Isn’t it like that now? You only pay for the slots you are mogging each time you get new gear or want to change the appearance of existing gear.
Or are you saying that a new drop in D-IV auto-mogs to whatever your current xmog slot is for that drop at no cost?

D4 mog is also a complete joke. Of course it’s free to trade out one brown smudge for another.
I don’t really have an issue with the gold cost. Would I be upset if it was removed though? Probably not, no.
