It’s like there’s a hive mind controlling people. Since you didn’t read my original post which answered everything you’ve asked, I’ll outline it again: blizzard knew the market would be volatile during new patches and they took advantage of that situation by causing important legendaries to be BOE for the MAJORITY of players. They don’t care about the minority of crafters. They care about average players buying BOEs, because they successfully predicted the token market would explode overnight.
And it did.
After confirming what they predicted, every expansion in the future will be influenced by Blizzard manipulating circumstances to ensure that the AVERAGE player has to spend a huge amount of gold to feel relevant in the community.
It’s exploitative. It’s underhanded. It’s wrong.
