Spell types and strategy

I’m trying to understand spells better

This in no way refined. It’s just rough and not finished and pretty generic and unfinished but i wanted to put it out there real quick.

SPELL TYPES

  • Run n’ Gun spells
  • Pump n’ Dump spells
  • Stationary casted spells
  • Debuffs
  • Damage over time
  • Stacks
  • Generators
  • Heals
  • Enhancers, Buffs, Power-boosts
  • Defense, Evasion, Heals
  • Heals
  • On tap
  • Spam spells, mash spells

SPELL FLOW

This listing on Wowpedia makes much more sense to me. Since various mobs are either susceptible or resistant to certain spell types, it’s good to know what mob you’re up against to choose effective spells.

1 Physical
2 Arcane
3 Fire
4 Frost
5 Nature
6 Shadow
7 Holy

Also you have “Heals” in your list twice, likely just an oversight (unless you meant two different types of heals?).
