So how does this work exactly? Because I nearly killed myself using my own convoke I had that many spells reflect back onto me.
lol, we all feel really bad for you.
Well, since it’s one spell technically i guess it would reflect everything.
This is actually hilarious.
We all feel bad for you.
Buff Convoke, please. People shouldn’t learn the right time to use it, people should be able to roll their faces on the keyboard.
I don’t know the answer but the thought is hilarious. Would definitely watch a clip of that. Next time I PvP I’ll have to keep an eye out for warriors…
So you used Convoke like a dummy and they countered it. Grats.
Well considering it says: “Lasts 5 sec or until a spell is reflected.”
I would say it should reflect ONE spell, not 6.
Convoke is technically one channeled spell.
Don’t cast convoke into a warlock’s Nether Ward. It will end badly.
Warrior reflect only reflects one spell. The worst you’ll get is a starsurge crit to the face.
Congratulations OP
You played yourself
kinda wish warriors spell reflect lasted the entire duration of the buff window like it used to but oh well
Maybe it functions like an old frost mage’s shatter combo, where the buff doesn’t go away until one of those spells makes contact with the warrior. But all spells currently in the air are going to get reflected in the meantime. So if you shot a bunch of stuff that all had travel times, and those spells all left your character while Spell Reflect was up, you did the equivalent of shatter comboing yourself.
I and a friend of mine once used to do this to each other as a gag, going outside of Orgrimmar during WotLK, and I’d pop haste cooldowns and mega-channel Arcane Missiles in a duel to shoot myself a dozen times in a row.
Been a hot minute since a convoke thread appeared on the forums.
Thank you for this wonderful drop of comedy.
If spells hit at the same time the Warrior reflect will process them all as reflected spells even though it only “reflects one spell”
Since Convoke casts spells very fast some of them likely hit at the same time and that’s probably what happened.
The game isn’t meant to have spells like Convoke, to be honest.
Convoke probably groups all the spells together as one effect, otherwise WoW’s 20 year old spaghetti code probably couldn’t manage the spell.
You deserved every single bit of that spell reflect.
Wait convoke the balance has counterplay? =o
And I can use the counterplay? =D
It can reflect multiple spells if they hit simultaneously.
ex. convoke uses wrath first, then starsurge second – wrath travels slower than starsurge, so both end up hitting at the same time and get reflected.
