Hi, I’m a wow veteran but brand new to DK.
I’ve frequently encountered DKs who have spell-casting skeletons and skeletons that shoot bows. I always assumed this was from Army of the Dead, but when I cast AotD they are all melee.
Where do those that I’m thinking of come from?
Magus of the Dead, it’s an Azerite trait. The archer also might be the risen archer from the all will serve talent.
The person above me is correct. The magus of the dead azerite trait summons a spell casting minion when you use apocalypse and army of the dead. He also appears when your vision of perfection proc. The archer is from the first tier talent all will serve and permanently exists when you summon your ghoul with that talent. For the magus of the dead you need to be 120 since it is from azerite armor.
Would be cool if they make all will serve talent having the option to have a magus mage instead of archer.
I was thinking to myself just tonight that it would be cool to summon just another basic ghoul. Seems like my little ghouly gets lonely at times.
I could just be reading to much into it but I really think so.
