So Broken tooth has an attack speed of 1.0.
Due to spell batching Broken tooth is consistently breaking Scatter shot on players even though players are using a macro to stop the pet from attacking.
A bunch of us was discussing this on discord earlier.
What issues are you guys having with Spell batching and are any hunters experiencing this same issue?

That doesn’t quite make sense, batching should help prevent that shouldn’t it? As both the command to stop attack and Scatter shot are in the same batch and Scatter has a travel time?
For traps and Scatter though I honestly manually turn my pet to passive first, but that’s just a habit I have had since TBC.
No, its the same thing as when a Rogue kicks a caster but the spell still goes off.
Thats how batching works, that is why warriors can literally charge each other or mages can sheep each other.

Only instead of being a rare thing that we all laugh at, in classic these things happen so much it’s actually stupid.

Guy its happening so much that we are having to literally ditch the best pvp pet in the game.

Pretty sure this is from the short delay on pet actions (warlocks have it too)
So your macro does something like /petpassive and then /cast scattershot?
Try just manually using pet passive (I use pet follow idk if pet passive actually works)
I’m like 100% sure this is what’s happening to ur pet. No reason to ditch the pet if you like it lol, just control it before you use scattershot
Don’t have brokentooth, but thats odd, since Scatter doesn’t even need a pet passive call, it happens automatically when the target is effected by the scatter.
If you are using a pet passive call I’d make sure it happens before the scatter, but it shouldn’t need one as I said.
