Can’t say how it feels Endgame wise since I don’t do much there anymore, but only time I would ever see “Speed running” is through lower levels dungeons when a player or two are trying to farm a specific gear piece.
Such as I am doing the same on my level 20 Twink. Where I am farming Warlords of Draenor for Warforged gear. around 170 dungeon runs so far, only got a few more slots to go.
However, I don’t rush through them since I be the DPS, I just go with the flow of the Tank. Unless the Tank is really fast at times to which my level 20 Dwarvish legs can sometimes barley keep up depending on Tanks Class lol.

I have a list of known forum regulars that just use these forums as their personal outlet to just aggravate people. It is like some weir sickness.

Irony is that the person you are responding to, automatically jumps to personal insults with people that disagree with them.
Then complain that others are here just to aggravate others.

Too be fair: Lio is known to alt-hop to bypass ignores and harass others by doing the exact same thing.
This person did used to post as ritahayworth after all.

Go find like minded players then? if the group wants to go fast and you don’t, that’s a YOU problem
It really is interesting how often people the complain about others doing things they dont like, are regularly doing those same things.
Yep. There’s more projection going on here than in an Imax theatre
I see it a lot myself, but it could be a realm thing. Mostly what ive seen is what appears to be a mythic+/raider failure trying to impress everyone with his gaming abilities, then proceeds to cause 3 wipes and gets kicked for wasting our time.
Every now and then I’ll run into a tank that actually is good enough and geared enough, could be a twink, I think its called? Who knows. But those runs are usually like clockwork so not a lot of reason to complain.
Not sure if the latter is farming anything, could be, but the former is there to either troll four players, wasting their time with multiple wipes…or is there to showboat and ends up looking like a clown. Definitely annoying, especially when they start screaming at the hunters pet in the group…and we find out he was MM and not running a pet at all, lol
What’s going on here is that anything with a queue is not allowed to have a failure condition, but blizzard still wants to bribe high-geared players into queues with end of dungeon goody bags for filling certain roles.
Since a lot of those are only there for the goody bag for completing the dungeon, and don’t actually want to be there, they do everything they can to get it over with as quickly as possible. And nothing does anywhere near enough damage or lives long enough to be even mildly dangerous to them.
That reminds me when I played ESO the same problem was going on but with an extra issue where the instance would boot you out when everyone left at the end.
I submitted a report that this was a bad system because it’s a waste. All the time, effort and money they put into these instances yet people just speed run never to be enjoyed. Shortly after that in the same month they implemented a timed system that would last long enough for the NPCs to finish their dialogue and be able to finish the quests so you could actually enjoy the instance and the story.
WoW though will never change when it comes to instances. So it’s just another reason I stopped doing group content.

I mean, they added follower dungeons for this exact use case this patch, but you’re free to think whatever makes you happy.

yeah, the only difference between running them at level and farming them later is stuff is easier to kill later.
No annoyance factor though, so its good.
Hopefully the AI thing will come to leveling dungeons, at least the option for the player to take the first shot each mob/boss.
Id live in Blackrock Mountain if they ever do.
