I’m sacrificing orbs galore to the RNG gods, trying to get every Benthic piece to have +speed. Terrible idea or just lots of fast fun?

You would do much better making a 111 twink for that. Get the plate boots that increase movespeed by your highest secondary, and get as many gems as you can.
My buddy has a set on his 111 warrior that brings him to 185% base movespeed, and its just a small sideproject for him.

Isn’t that an Azerite power? The move speed based off secondary stat.

seems strange, why? Speed on gear doesn’t make you go that much faster, a couple percentage which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Each small percentage adds to a decent chunk.
When you could stack minor movespeed (5%) in WoD, I had a brewmaster with 170% base movespeed. Its incredibly strong.

Unless you are planing to do legion content, it is way easier and much less time consuming to get a class to 110, use legendary items, enchants and bear tartar for the speed boost bonus.
You guys should have used code words in this thread. Ion will be along shortly to nerf everything mentioned here now.

I’m still upset that Blizzard either removed, nerfed or disabled all the items that boosted our characters speed, and also increased the legacy loot level difference from 10 to 11, which is ridiculous, having to wait 4 years to be able to solo raids from an expansion is bad design.
