Specs that get 2 charges of their burst

how do we feel about this overall and should it be applied to more specs

I’m not the biggest fan of them but I think it’s a skill issue thing on my part. I don’t like how scary the openers are :cold_sweat:

i kind of want them to look at toning boomy burst down in exchange for more defensives

Multiple charges of cooldowns whether it be death grip, vanish, incarnation, etc. are bad for the game imo. Same with talents that reduce cooldown timers such as what Sub Rogue had. Lets peope get away with misusing them since they have a backup or know the cooldown will rotate back up again shorty. Prefer harsh penalties for misusing powerful cd’s personally and that’s only really possible when they have a longer cd/1 charge.

I’m going to get absolutely attacked for this but every boomy I have faced this season has 5-1 or 6-0d the lobby because they were the kt every round and couldn’t die. Their mobility fends off most meele and they can just line casters between having the scariest offensive cd in game outside of ascendance.

Not good for arena hard to balance for. Feels like boom does 3 gos in the first minute and they’re all scary

Also a small side effect is it enables certain specs to sell boosts easily

If this in any way pushed the spec into “rotkin/DoTkin” I NOT want it. It was nicknamed BOOMkin for a reason. You don’t always have to sacrifice something in order to make a spec better. Just rework a few things here and there.

Death grip is super outdated at this point due to how much mobility everything has (not talkin about frost though it’s broken for that spec)

Boomie defensives are fine. And boomie is fine other than the padding we do in bgs. Burst tho back off lol.

2 charges or durations of over 12 seconds are garbage and should be looked at

I don’t think it specifically (death grip) is a problem with the current state of the game when there’s 2 shimmers, 2 shadow steps, 2 charges+leap. etc. Just saying in general with anything having multiple charges (be it movement based cd’s, offensive cd’s, whatever). If it was to change it would have to change for everything at the same time.
