I am nearly computer specs illiterate. Are these specs good to play WoW?
Short answer: Yes more than enough.
Check to see if Microcenter has any promotion going on. They had somethings for first time customers
Thank you. I like The aesthetics / But I wanted to make sure it is a computer worth of my bucks. Thank you again.
Is that a laptop? Cuz that cpu sbould be a lot faster. My 10700k is 3.8 GHz base clock, but runs at 4.7.
Certainly good enough specs, but is it a laptop or a desktop? Also, how much are they asking?
Powerspec is Microcenter’s brand of Prebuilt desktop. Quick google search shows this model to be at 2k
Not counting sales/rebate/other discounts they’re charging OP roughly $300 over the cost of building it themselves.
Whether or not you feel this is fair is something you can tell OP about.
They gave me $250 veteran discount. So, I got it for $1,860, tax included. It is a very fast computer and can be overclocked if I want to. Since I do not know how to overclock, I leave it alone.
I think the 2.7 is something called the “ecore”. Its normally 3.6 I think and can boost for short times to 5.
What is an ecore? Also, the computer is fast and the graphics are very nice.
