Are we certain it’s in the vault?
Did anyone on the PTR discover it’s location?
The reason I ask this is because of the wording of the item’s description.

“Nobody would hide dust in a treasure vault. This is likely a potent bronze dragon catalyst for time magic. Be careful not to use too much!”

And I know that it should be read as “a speck of dust would be too trivial to keep locked away, unless it’s has value to it”. But then again, maybe it’s an interaction we’re missing. Still would like to know if anyone achieved this on the PTR.

good question. i think they mean that it isn’t simply dust.

I am wondering if it is time gated. as in it will only drop in its fourth week or your fourth try or something like that. but that would make the first fast drops kind of out of place.

I am also wondering if either a) they forget to program it, or b) it is blocked behind renown of some sort

But there’s also a chest out in the open middle this week for me, says it requires as research key to open. I haven’t found the key to IT yet either.

I found my research key in another room in the vault…

Same here. I also have a broken teleporter in my vault but haven’t seen Neltharion’s Toolkit in any of the rooms. Might be items you get in a previous week but that seems kinda dumb?

I have 2 research keys, but I haven’t found a chest yet that requires one.
