Spec Queue'ing

Don’t know if this has been brought up before, but why hasn’t Blizzard implemented an option to queue up as a specific specialization instead of by role? For example, I prefer to world quest as havoc, but I want to queue up as devourer. Currently I would have to swap over to devourer, queue up, then swap back over to havoc, queue pops, swap over to devourer, rinse and repeat. That’s a lot of unnecessary steps that could be fixed if they would just allow players to choose their specialization when queueing up for content.

Because you can swap spec at will. What’s the problem?

I think likely because this doesn’t frequently happen enough to warrant it.

Usually you wouldn’t say someone prefer Arms open world and Fury raid (when it comes to raid finder*).

I see you didn’t read my post.

You’re talking about two dps specs. Queue as DPS, and if you’re in havoc take the ten seconds to swap to devourer spec before accepting the invite. You have 30 seconds to accept the invite.

I’m referring to pvp, should have stated that in my original post. When you queue up in rated pvp (Blitz and Solo Shuffle) you can’t change your specializations after you take the queue. It puts you in spec you chose upon entering the BG/Arena, but once you leave, you’re put back in to other spec, meaning you have to swap over again, requeue, swap back. Apologies for the confusion.

Oh, pvp, yeah then your idea makes absolute sense. Apologies for misunderstanding!
